More than 90 companies, institutions, and professional firms participated in the latest edition of the Career Fair and Legal Day at CEU San Pablo University, an initiative organized by the Career Services Office to strengthen the connection between the university and the business community.
The event began with an opening address by Ángel Bartolomé, Vice Rector for Students and University Life. This was followed by a roundtable discussion featuring Ignacio Paíno Peña, a market risk analyst and counterparty at Santander; Fernando Vadillo Blanco-Traba, a restructuring and insolvency attorney at Garrigues; and Mar Tomico Fernández, Head of Protocol and External Relations at La Fábrica. The session was moderated by Marta Medina Núñez, a professor in the School of Humanities and Communication Sciences.
Next, the students had the opportunity to tour the various booths set up by participating companies and organizations, where they were able to learn firsthand about their internship programs, job openings, and hiring processes. Some organizations also conducted interviews during the event itself, facilitating direct contact between recruiters and candidates.
Among the participating companies and institutions were Banco de España, BBVA, BNP Paribas, CNMV, Deloitte, EY, Ford Spain, KPMG, L’Oréal, MAPFRE, Mondelez International, Mutua Madrileña, NTT DATA, Ogilvy, Publicis, PwC, and Repsol, along with organizations from the fields of communications, marketing, consulting, technology, and finance.
