Internal Quality Assurance System

Who is in charge?

The Dean or the Director of the Centre in which the degree is taught, together with the Academic heads to whom he/she delegates the academic and management authority, is the ultimate person responsible.

Internal Quality Committee

The Internal Quality Committee (IQC) of each Centre is the organism in charge of proposing to the dean/director the tasks of planning, monitoring and achievement of the quality objectives set by the University for its degrees through the Internal Quality Assurance System - IQAS.

The competent Vice-Rector in terms of quality will be in charge of coordinating the actions and results of the IQC of every Centre and of submit these to the Standing Committee of the Governing Council of the University.

The IQC shall meet in an ordinary basis at least every semester. One of these sessions will take place during the last quarter of the year, once all the information is available to close the follow-up of the previous year.

Quality Manual of the Internal Quality Assurance System by Centre

The IQAS processes generate a set of INDICATORS associated with the main dimensions that ensure quality education for graduates. These include the Academic Results Indicators, guaranteed by the Integrated University Information System (SIIU), whose homogeneity and validity allow for comparability in the Spanish University System.
