CEU San Pablo University has obtained WSCUC/WASC accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), recognized by the United States Department of Education. This accreditation makes us the first Spanish university and the second European institution to obtain this accreditation, as well as the first institution in the European Union that is not an “American University” to achieve this distinction.

The accrediting body, WSCUC/WASC, is recognized as one of the most demanding evaluation agencies in terms of quality, innovation, internationalization, and university technology. Its accreditation guarantees our compliance with the highest standards evaluated.

In addition to being able to display this seal for the next six years (2025-2031), the University has aligned itself with international educational standards, strengthening sustainability and improving its evidence-based strategic planning.

The report highlights six key aspects:

2. Financial model: This allows us to undertake strategic initiatives that improve academic programs and infrastructure and invest in our employees.
3. Focus on student employability without compromising the University's educational mission.

Architecture Degree has been approved by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB), an accrediting agency for architectural education in the United States, having been determined International Certification to Universidad CEU San Pablo’s accredited architecture programs in the USA. 

FCCPT - The CEU American Physiotherapy program was positively evaluated in 2022 by the Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy, in the United States, which allows students who complement their Degree in Physiotherapy with this program to directly access the competency exam necessary to practice the profession of physiotherapist in the United States.

Universidad CEU San Pablo has obtained the International Seal of Quality from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) valid from July 23, 2025, to July 22, 2029, for its Bachelor's Degree in Medicine. This international accreditation opens doors for our students to the job market in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, allowing them direct access to the exams for medical specialization programs in these countries. 

Universidad CEU San Pablo has obtained the prestigious Certificate for Quality in Internationalisation (CeQuInt) awarded by the European Consortium for Accreditation in Higher Education (ECA).

The ECA evaluates five parameters:

1. International learning objectives.
2. Strategic plans.
3. Implementation of data collection and analysis processes
4. Continuous improvement with an international focus throughout the University
5. Governance and decision-making, which integrates an international vision of the educational mission of the institution.

This certificate is a recognition of our educational model, adapted to a global and multicultural world.

The "Seal of Excellence in Human Resources for Research" awarded by the European Commission recognises those institutions that have made progress in aligning their human resources policies with the principles defined in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Hiring of Researchers.
