Custom Career Path (CCP)

A career path from day one

At Universidad CEU San Pablo, professional development begins right from the start of college.

Custom Career Path (CCP) is a mentoring program designed to help each student gradually build their professional future as they progress through their academic studies.

Through four stages—self-awareness, industry knowledge, career choice, and job placement—students identify their strengths, define their goals, and develop the skills needed to enter the job market with confidence and a solid foundation.

Because employability isn't something you can just wing. It takes hard work, training, and building it up step by step.

What is CCP

Personalized guidance to help shape your career path

CCP structures the student's professional development from the early years of study through to their entry into the workforce.

More than just a career path, it is a tool to help you get to know yourself better, enhance your professional profile, connect with real opportunities, and build a forward-looking career trajectory.

Custom guidance that helps you make more informed and well-guided career decisions.

Before deciding on a career path, it is important to identify your strengths, skills, and interests.

In this first stage, students explore their potential through assessment tools and specialized programs:

The goal is to help you make career decisions with a better understanding of yourself and a clearer picture of the opportunities that best match your profile.

The job market has its own rules. This stage helps students understand how each sector works, what types of candidates companies are looking for, and where the real opportunities lie.

Students engage directly with the professional world through hands-on experiences, sessions with companies, testimonials from professionals, and activities that allow them to compare their personal interests with the realities of the job market.

This phase focuses on:

  • CEU Business Classrooms and Professionals in the Classroom.
  • Industry conferences and workshops.
  • Networking in the classroom.
  • Exploring career opportunities.

The goal is to reduce uncertainty and help people make informed career decisions based on a real understanding of the market.

Once the industry has been identified and the profile defined, it is time to make specific decisions: what type of company, what role, and what career path best aligns with each student’s skills, interests, and goals.

In this phase, Career Services works with the student to develop a personalized plan that combines personal aspirations with actual skills and market opportunities.

We focus particularly on:

  • Personalized career plan.
  • Development of digital skills.
  • Strengthening of skills and language proficiency.
  • Preparation for recruitment processes.

The goal is to transition from being a job seeker to becoming the professional that companies need.

All the groundwork—self-awareness, understanding the market, and defining a career path—finds its most concrete application here.

This phase helps students make the leap into the job market with preparation, strategy, and the support of a team that understands the real needs of companies.

We focus on profile positioning, professional visibility, and access to specific opportunities. Because being prepared isn’t enough: it’s also important to know how to present yourself, stand out, and connect with the environments where opportunities arise.

In this final phase, the mechanisms for professional acceleration are activated:

  • Personal Branding.
  • Networking.
  • Interview training and simulation.
  • Ongoing support.

The goal is to facilitate an effective transition into the professional world, aligning your training with specific job opportunities.
