Why study the Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education at Universidad CEU San Pablo?

Our teaching formula: comprehensive training, critical thinking, creativity and learning community. The Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education at Universidad CEU San Pablo is a unique training program designed around this formula and with two axes: a solid humanistic training and early practical experience in the classroom.

From the beginning of the Bachelor’s degree you will have contact with the centers where you could practice your future profession. And from the second year on, you will be immersed in the educational centers of the CEU Group in Madrid. There you will learn how the current school reality works from the hand of our outstanding active teachers.

You will be able to enrich your training by deepening your knowledge in the field of your interest:

English: to teach English as a foreign language.
Inclusive education: to know how to detect and deal with different educational needs and knowledge of intercultural environments.
Hearing and language: to recognize and respond to possible problems related to language skills.

And, if you want, you can obtain the DECA (Ecclesiastical Declaration of Academic Competence), which qualifies you as a teacher of Catholic Religion in Infant and Primary Education.

In the third and fourth year you will carry out curricular internships (generic practicum and mention practicum) to test the theoretical and practical knowledge learned. The internships are carried out in centers in the Community of Madrid and you will be accompanied and guided by a tutor.

We seek not only the learning of knowledge, but also of skills and attitudes. Therefore, in different Courses you will test your competencies as a future teacher through the resolution of real cases. Staged challenges very similar to those you will encounter in your future profession.

In addition, you will be part of an action-oriented community where you will receive numerous courses, workshops, lectures, and seminars that provide comprehensive training and generate a climate of learning and debate, fostering a close relationship with teachers and professionals from all fields.
