Specifically, you should acquire knowledge that will enable you to have skills and abilities in:  

• Promotion of communication skills in the language of the new multimedia media, as well as the ability to produce, manage and administer contents in the new digital media, through the adequate and efficient use of specific informative and communicative technologies and techniques.  
• Acquisition of the ability to know how to analyze communicative messages and to value the need for adequate and pertinent communication and information in order to form a public opinion in accordance with the fundamental values of democracy.  
• Understanding and knowledge of the structure of the advertising and communication sector and its respective changes. In addition, to know how to initiate, develop and execute a communication strategy and to reflect critically on their own practice.  
• Development of the capacity for idiomatic creation in the different media (print, audiovisual and advertising), the ability to design the formal and aesthetic aspects of each medium, as well as the use of computer techniques for the representation and transmission of facts and data, through infographic systems and photographic techniques.  
• Maturing of the capacity for analysis, synthesis and critical awareness of social realities and the relationship between currents of thought, science, knowledge and technology that affect the historical development of humanity. Understanding of the basic principles of history, both universal and Spanish, its future challenges and development of the capacity for critical analysis of news about national and international reality in the media.  
• Development of the ability to analyze structures, contents and styles of radio and television communication, as well as to produce and carry out sound and audiovisual contents of different types, according to an idea, using the necessary narrative and technological techniques.  
• Learning a modern language and its specific terminology to be used in the context of the discipline and professional performance.
