After two years of hiatus due to the pandemic,
the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences has resumed its traditional
International Seminars. In its eighth edition, 12 teachers from Germany, Bulgaria, Mexico, the
Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Sierra Leone have visited the Faculty.
International professors have taught students
on current topics related to ethics, sustainability, international trade,
marketing, globalization, blockchain, cryptocurrency and data mining. In order
to encourage students and so that they can have a better knowledge of the
countries for future mobility, the professors presented their universities and
have shared opinions and recommendations about them. Likewise, workshops were held in which our fellow
teachers and invited professors participated, exchanging knowledge and
ideas on research, innovation and innovative methodologies. And conversations have begun to implement new international collaborative projects for teachers and students (among others in the field of COILs and Blended Intensive Programs or BIPs).
Visiting professors from the partner universities were also able to enjoy
different cultural visits to emblematic places such as the Sorolla Museum, as
well as the culinary culture of Madrid. Moreover, they attended a typical Flamenco show.
