Unlike other indicators that rely on perception-based surveys, the Research.com ranking is distinguished by its methodological rigour. Data are drawn directly from global bibliometric sources such as OpenAlex and CrossRef, ensuring an objective assessment based on measurable outcomes.
The primary classification criterion is the D-index (Discipline H-index), which evaluates both productivity (number of published articles) and real impact (citations received) of researchers affiliated with each institution. This approach rewards the quality and influence of the knowledge generated by CEU USP research groups, beyond sheer publication volume.
