Within the
framework of its identity project and in its constant effort to facilitate and
promote an international experience in its classrooms, Universidad CEU San Pablo has signed the adhesion letter for extra-regional
partners supporting the 'Americarum Mobilitas' and 'Oducoil'
programs organized by the Organization of Catholic Universities of Latin America
and the Caribbean (ODUCAL). With this initiative CEU USP aims to promote the creation of
relationships with a wider network of students and teachers from multicultural
university institutions, as well as to encourage training and development in
issues related to Internationalization.
The ‘Americarum Mobilitas’ program consists of ODUCAL's platform for student
exchange and temporary mobility programs for professors. This project is
coordinated by the Internationalization Office of UNIVA, the Catholic
University in Mexico, and will allow students from more than 50 Latin American
Catholic universities affiliated with the Organization to enjoy a face-to-face
or virtual mobility experience.
As for 'Oducoil', this platform
will promote the expansion of COIL (Collaborative Online International
Learning) project networks. These foster international collaborative online
learning by nurturing ties between institutions allowing professors from
different ODUCAL-affiliated universities to develop new ideas together. They
also promote the development of projects and activities which allow their
respective students to participate from their own country.
