This week CEU has launched the Orientadero, a content platform designed to help fourth year ESO (compulsory secondary education) and first and second year Baccalaureate students from all over Spain to make the right choice in future courses. Rigorously composed articles, advice, videos, tests and educational rankings presented in an informal tone combine to form an attractive offer in which educators, counselors and families are all involved.

This platform will provide students with a panoramic view of their future, showing them not only the academic and professional options, but also the keys to identifying and working on values ??such as motivation, responsibility, solidarity and a vocation for service.

As Rafael Monjo, head of El Orientadero, explains, this project is backed by the experience of various professionals from the CEU centers. The platform seeks to inspire, educate and entertain, providing future university students with the best tools to choose their career. It was born with a clear vocation for service, offers a meeting place that improves day by day, and provides value and inspiration.

Study techniques, time management, the university enrollment process, advice on the degrees which have the best job prospects, and international mobility are just a few of the contents that can be found on the platform.

It is a platform that is alive and to which young people are invited to participate. Students are also encouraged to ask questions through the mailbox, ‘El Preguntadero', and receive answers to all their queries from a team of experts in education including educational psychologists.

The 'Counsellors Area' also incorporates specific resources and communications for school counselors, providing a response to the need that arises in many centers to provide students with all the possible resources to take the first steps on the road to university.
