The program is divided into two complementary phases that combine theoretical training, practical skills development, and international career prospects.
Phase I – e-Learning Courses (1st, 2nd, and 3rd year)
During the first three years, students take a series of progressive online training modules that provide a solid foundation in human rights, international relations, and contemporary diplomacy.
- 1st year: Human Rights, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change
- Introduction to the fundamental principles of human rights and their close connection to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), environmental protection, and global policies on climate change. In addition, this course analyzes the most recent developments in the framework of the Conferences of the Parties (COPs) and their impact on international governance.
- 2nd year: Public and Cultural Diplomacy
- Study of the concepts of soft power, public diplomacy, and cultural diplomacy, with special attention to contemporary global communication strategies employed by states and international organizations. The course promotes understanding of the role of culture and public opinion in a country's international projection.
- 3rd year: International Humanitarian Law
- Analysis of armed conflicts from the perspective of International Humanitarian Law (IHL). The course delves into mechanisms for protecting the civilian population, rules on the conduct of hostilities, and the responsibility of international actors, with the aim of understanding the legislative role in limiting human suffering and the pursuit of peace.
Phase II – Executive Diploma in Diplomatic Practice and Skills for a Successful International Career
- 4th year: In the final year, students access executive training designed by UNITAR (United Nations Institute for Training and Research), aimed at developing practical skills and strengthening international professional projection.
This phase combines:
- Specialized online modules
- Live sessions with experts
- Individualized professional coaching
- Study visit to Geneva, home to numerous United Nations agencies and international organizations
Throughout the program, participants will acquire key skills in negotiation, public speaking, leadership, conflict resolution, and intercultural communication, preparing them to successfully integrate into internship programs, diplomatic positions, or roles within the United Nations system and other international institutions.
