The Dual Bachelor’s degree for journalists with international projection

The Dual Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and International Relations prepares you in two complementary areas. On the one hand, you will receive a complete basic training to be able to communicate and produce quality news content. On the other hand, you will be able to obtain a global vision of the world and the necessary skills to understand the European Union and international relations from a historical, political, legal, and economic perspective.

We prepare you as a professional with a solid interdisciplinary knowledge base so that you can understand and communicate with rigor the great global challenges. You will study several languages and will have to undertake a one-semester mobility to a foreign university.

In just five years, you will acquire the skills and aptitudes to develop a professional career with roles of a European and international dimension: international journalism, diplomacy, international analysis, international development cooperation... you are the only one who sets the limits.

Why study the Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and International Relations?

The Dual Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and International Relations at Universidad CEU San Pablo is a training that allows you to combine the profession of journalism with experience in international scenarios and politics. We train you from the first year with a practical approach and in the best facilities so that you will be able to work in a global, intercultural, and multilingual environment.

With this Dual Degree, in addition to receiving specific training for your degree, you will receive training in values, which will turn you into a professional who strives for excellence in everything he or she does, always working for the common good.

Study a double degree with a unique training with a multidisciplinary approach with contents such as economics, law, business and history, among others. You will be able to develop critical thinking and learn the tools to analyze and understand the dynamics and relevant actors of the global reality.

This dual bachelor’s degree includes the mobility of at least one semester abroad, but with the possibility of extending it to one year. We have numerous agreements with universities around the world, Maastrich, Heidelberg and even several universities in the United States.

You will study with a unique teaching staff, both professional and academic and research, composed of journalists and experts with extensive experience. During your studies you will receive individualized attention and support from professors and tutors so that you can grow as a professional, but also as a person.

With the CEU-UCLA Extension Program you can acquire an international profile and the ability to function in one of the most demanding academic environments, two things that are highly valued in the face of incorporation into the professional world.

From your first year you will be in direct contact with the profession. You will be able to attend masterclasses, conferences, training seminars, Innovation Week, Communication Week and International Week, as well as visits to companies and institutions, media newsrooms and agencies.

In addition, in the fifth year you will have 180 hours (6 ECTS) of internships corresponding to the Bachelor's degree in Journalism so that you can apply all the knowledge acquired in a real professional environment.

Can you imagine studying at a prestigious American university? With the International Bilingual Program you will be able to complete your studies with exclusive training in the United States. Upon completion, you will receive an official degree in Business Administration and Management, a Bilingual Program Diploma from Universidad CEU San Pablo and a certificate issued by Boston University.

UCLA Extension - Film & TV Development

Study at a university recognized in the field of communication and digital media. The Film & TV Development Program, taught by professors from the University of California, Los Angeles, is aimed at students from the School of Humanities and Communication Sciences who want to develop their careers as content developers and creative producers of film and television in the world capital of the audiovisual entertainment sector. It includes a training period in Madrid and a training semester in Los Angeles (USA). You will also have the opportunity to do an internship.
