Services

Through the University's services, the student's day-to-day life is facilitated and the necessary help is provided to enhance their studies and their optimal training. Students have at their disposal specialised professionals and a programme of activities, apart from teaching, designed for them to acquire skills and abilities that complete them as professionals.

Cultural activities service

In parallel to the academic level, our University has designed a wide range of classrooms and workshops that enhance the cultural and artistic training of our students. These activities include the Theatre Group, music competitions, the university choir, literary gatherings, cultural trips, debate forums, poetry evenings, and the personal creativity competition, among others.

Sports activities service

The Sports Service encourages our students to take part in a wide range of sports and manages the organisation and participation of students in internal leagues and competitions as well as at national and international inter-university level. One out of every three students at our University plays sport.

Volunteering Classroom

The aim of the Volunteering Classroom is to promote, channel and coordinate social volunteering tasks which, with the collaboration of the members of the educational community, makes it possible to help people in need, people in situations of poverty and/or social marginalisation, as well as raising awareness in the university community.

Pastoral

The Pastoral Department provides students who so wish with the means of Christian education, spiritual and sacramental care, as well as the possibility of participating in solidarity and educational activities such as seminars, debates or retreats. In this way, the University aims to offer students a space to deepen their knowledge of their faith and the transcendence of human nature.

Academic Admissions Service

The Academic Admissions Service provides students with all the information about the academic offer of the centre and the necessary university orientation from the moment the student requests information about the degrees to the choice of degree. This service guides students through the degree selection process and provides them with the necessary help in the process prior to enrolment.

New students support unit

This service is aimed at new students, both national and international and exchange students, who have just joined the University, in order to share with them all the news, relevant information and any other type of information they may require, as well as to manage their applications and monitor them until they are resolved. The Help Unit is the intermediary between new students and the rest of the services and Schools.

Reprography

The Moncloa campus has three reprographic centres, which offer students printing, binding and document copying services, with extensive opening hours to facilitate work within the University facilities, in order to optimise study time.

Library

The library provides students and Professors with the bibliographic collections of its three Universities, as well as designing and providing activities, training courses on documentary resources and research support sessions. It has more than a thousand reading and catalogue workstations and on-line database consultation, and has more than four thousand square metres distributed over the Argüelles, Moncloa and Montepríncipe campuses.

Computer services

The University has a wi-fi service in 60% of its facilities, as well as a computer centre with more than four thousand computers available for students and professors, and computer classrooms staffed by specialised personnel. It also has three computer portals for the management of teaching and tutoring tools, monitoring and reinforcement in the training of students, as well as to facilitate all academic procedures of interest.

University Ombudsman

The figure of the University Ombudsman oversees the quality of all areas of the University, as well as respect for the rights and freedoms of all members of the educational community, in the actions of the different bodies and services.

Medical office and infirmary

In both the Montepríncipe and Moncloa campuses, the University has two clinical assistance centres, staffed by multidisciplinary personnel, to cover all types of staff and student needs.

Psychology office

The psychology office is a counselling and support service that the University provides free of charge to its students, to help them solve personal, relationship, academic or career-related problems that may affect their personal or academic performance.

University Promotion

The University Promotion Service offers academic guidance to Baccalaureate students and teachers through a series of activities and proposals designed to support the teaching work. These activities include workshops and lectures by schools, guided visits to the University with the possibility of doing work experience corresponding to a degree, or talks on university orientation.

Tutoring system

From the moment they enter the University, each student is assigned a tutor, with the aim of giving them guidance in their studies, advising them on their work, advising them on the choice of optional subjects and, in general, monitoring their academic progress with the utmost respect for their personality and freedom.

International relations

The activity of the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation is part of the aim to expand and improve the educational project of Universidad San Pablo-CEU, which is committed to the exchange of students, teachers and staff with leading international universities. Its aim is to promote the development of training activities, academic specialisation, and to give students the opportunity to carry out internships abroad.
