We are committed to the challenge of bringing about a profound change in the way we relate to nature and ecosystems.
We believe that caring for the environment is not just a technical issue, but also a human one: it involves respect, responsibility, and solidarity. That is why we promote projects that reduce our ecological footprint, encourage sustainable habits among students and faculty, and support initiatives that protect our Common Home both on and off campus.

Sustainable campus

We strive to reduce and offset the environmental impact of our activities. We challenge our students to get involved and come up with new ways to make our campuses more sustainable.

We offer:

Recycling resources and processes tailored to university life
Water fountains in all buildings
Energy- and water-efficient systems
Accessible and adapted spaces

School of Humanities and Communication Sciences

Opened in 2022, this building is a prime example of sustainable architecture. Thanks to a significant investment and a commitment to innovation, the building was constructed with a focus on energy efficiency, the use of sustainable materials, and a design that optimizes resources.

Sustainability is a key feature of its architecture: certified wood, measures to maximize energy efficiency, and the use of natural light.

Montepríncipe Campus

In 2023, with the goal of reducing its CO2 emissions and contributing to the decarbonization of the planet, San Pablo CEU University installed photovoltaic solar panels on several buildings on the Montepríncipe Campus. Part of the installation was funded by the European Union’s Next Generation Funds through the Community of Madrid.
