With the aim of maximising student employability, CEU San Pablo University has created an authentic university-business link promoting collaborative projects that bridge professional and academic worlds. This project, which began this academic year and is being implemented in all faculties, helps students to receive real-world training while taking their first steps into the job market.

A group of selected students from the Degree in Digital Communication have been participating, since last Tuesday, in the Aula The Jump project, which kicked off with a special session with the participation of Pablo Stürzer, founding partner of the agency.

The Jump Live Commerce is the first agency specialising in Live Commerce in Southern Europe. To participate in this exclusive training programme, a group of outstanding, high-performance students have been selected to receive complimentary training in specific areas of communication, advertising and e-commerce. They will be guided by experts from The Jump team, who will support and advise the participants throughout the course.

The 15-week long programme, taught at the School of Humanities and Communication Sciences, combines theoretical and hands-on learning by having students join the agency’s team as interns in various departments.

The Jump has developed a work method called Intelligent Live Commerce Journey, fusing video streaming and e-commerce to bring the consumer closer to the product through an interactive digital experience. The agency guides its clients, brands and retailers throughout the Live Commerce journey, having worked for multinational companies such as Orange, Samsung, Disney+, Nintendo, El Ganso, Oppo, Xiaomi and others.

The launch of the Aula The Jump marks a further step in the collaboration between the University and the The Jump agency, which is just one of many links between the University and organisations looking to train students in business-specific skills and thus find new sources of talent.
