CEU San Pablo University and Generali have extended their collaboration with the creation of the Aula Generali CEU, a learning space to attract talent to the insurance sector, as well as to promote the development of abilities and skills among students to help them take their first steps into the job market.
Over the coming months, the Aula Generali will focus on topics of interest in the world of insurance, such as innovation, the possibilities of working at a company like Generali, transversal and functional projects, commercial and insurance distribution skills, as well as all the information on the Generali YoungLions scholarship programme, which seeks to recruit junior talent as part of the Generali team.
Alberto Ogando, Chief People & Organisation Officer of Generali, explained that "with this agreement, Generali wants to contribute to the link between the academic world and the business world to promote the exchange of knowledge that will allow students to enter the job market with the necessary skills to carry out a successful professional career”.
For her part, Rosa Visiedo, Rector of the University, pointed out that "the Aulas CEU-Business initiative aims to generate a better and closer relationship between our university and companies. Its ultimate goal is to improve training and the approach to the business world and, therefore, improve the employability of our students. It’s a win-win for both parties, the company and the university".
Motivational talk ‘La actitud suma’
In addition, Generali has also held the event today for students of the Generali-CEU Chair of Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunity in Employment which, on this occasion and with the title 'La Actitud Suma' (Attitude is a plus), was attended by Pepe Rodríguez, chef of the El Bohío restaurant (Illescas) and MasterChef judge, and Cisco García, world runner-up in wheelchair tennis. During the meeting, moderated by TVE journalist Ana Belén Roy, these renowned professionals offered an inspiring vision of life based on their professional careers and shared the personal and professional challenges they have had to face over time, their dreams, projects and ambitions.
